We've got a battle between Jaguars coming up. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Jackson will be up against a hot Stephenson squad: the team just extended their winning streak to three. Stephenson put the hurt on North Clayton with a sharp 15-4 victory on Friday.
Khari Crenshaw made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing five innings while giving up four earned runs off five hits. Crenshaw was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing Two bases. while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

In other batting news, Romando Craddock was incredible, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one triple. He is becoming a predictor of Stephenson's success: when he posts at least two stolen bases the team is undefeated (and 2-4 when he doesn't). Miles Allen was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing Two bases. while going 2-for-4.
Stephenson was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .565. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, everything went Jackson's way against Creekside on Friday as Jackson made off with a 14-1 win. The Jaguars haven't had any issues with the Seminoles recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.
Tyler Dunn was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out six over four innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in February. He was also big at the plate, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one triple, two RBI, and one double.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Seth Geter, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Marcus Blash, who scored two runs while going 1-for-3.
Jackson's record is now 10-6. As for Stephenson, they now have a winning record of 5-4.
Stephenson might still be hurting after the 12-3 defeat they got from Jackson in their previous matchup back in February of 2023. Can Stephenson avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
