Despite the loss, Armwood still got an impressive performance from Talon Mckinnie, who scored 11 points along with two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Malakai Francis, who scored nine points.
Sunlake's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Christopher Murray led the charge by scoring 16 points along with eight rebounds and three steals. Murray is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last six games he's played. Nelson Marshall was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with two steals.
Armwood has been struggling recently, as they've lost six of their last seven matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season. As for Sunlake, their win bumped their record up to 8-6.
