Friendswood put their dominant pitchers on display in the team's fourth consecutive shutout on Tuesday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Iowa Colony Pioneers a 9-0 shutout. The Mustangs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 15 matches by six runs or more this season.

Friendswood pushed their record up to 22-2 with the victory, which was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.1 runs on average over those games. As for Iowa Colony, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last ten contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-13 record this season.
