Football Recap: Stony Point Piles Up the Points Against Manor

Stony Point barely beat Manor the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Tigers really took it to the Mustangs for the full four quarters, racking up a 49-14 victory. That 35 point margin sets a new team best for the Tigers this season.

Stony Point's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Trystin Rimes led the charge by picking up 101 receiving yards and three scores. That's the most receiving touchdowns Rimes has posted since back in September of 2024. Mason Troyer was another key passer, throwing for 203 yards and three TDs while completing 75% of his passes.

Despite the loss, Manor still got an impressive performance from Andre Terry, who rushed for 103 yards and one touchdown on only 13 carries, and also picked up 73 receiving yards. Terry's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 101 rushing yards. Another player making a difference was Camden Huff, who threw for 197 yards and one TD.

With the win, Stony Point broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-4. As for Manor, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-6.
