Matthew Swanson put up the most strikeouts he's had since back in April of 2024 on Thursday. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out eight over 4.2 innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks any time he's pitched this season.

Looking ahead, Swanson and Walsingham Academy will venture away from home to square off against Life Christian Academy at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
