On Friday, The Foothill Knights got themselves on the board against the Brea Olinda Wildcats, but the Brea Olinda Wildcats never followed suit. They claimed a resounding 55-0 victory over the Wildcats at home. The result was nothing new for Foothill, who have now won three contests by 26 points or more so far this season.
Aaron Mitchell had an outrageously good game as he rushed for 139 yards and three touchdowns on only 14 carries. The team also got some help courtesy of Michael Galey, who picked up 131 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Foothill has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season. As for Brea Olinda, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their overall record down to 5-4.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Foothill will take on Yorba Linda at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Yorba Linda knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past six games -- so hopefully Foothill likes a good challenge. As for Brea Olinda, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Villa Park at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Villa Park presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Brea Olinda in California (Villa Park is ranked 65th, while Brea Olinda is ranked 357th).
