The Brooke Point Black Hawks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four contests by 23 points or more this season. They put the hurt on Mountain View with a sharp 68-42 victory on Friday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Brooke Point also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2023.
It was another big night for Yanis Youbi, who dropped a double-double on 25 points and 14 rebounds. Those 25 points set a new season-high mark for him. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaylen Roman, who scored 17 points.
Brooke Point's win bumped their record up to 6-7. As for Mountain View, they bumped their record down to 3-10 with that loss, which was their fourth straight at home.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Brooke Point will take on Colonial Forge at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Mountain View, they will head out on the road to face off against North Stafford at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
