Ontario will face off against Mohawk at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Ontario will be looking to extend their current 12-game winning streak.
Ontario barely beat Pleasant the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Warriors put the hurt on the Spartans with a sharp 13-3 victory on Wednesday. Considering the Warriors have won seven games by more than six runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.
Morgan Pearson spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and one unearned) runs on six hits and racked up eight Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Saylor Smith, who fired off two home runs and five RBI while going 2-for-4. Those five RBI gave her a new career-high. Ellie Dawson was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and one triple.
Ontario was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .412. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Pleasant only posted a batting average of .280.
Meanwhile, it may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Mohawk ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 6-5 win over Colonel Crawford. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Warriors have posted since May 24, 2025.
Mohawk also let their pitcher toss all eight innings and she was also dialed-in: Aubrey Gottfried gave up five earned runs on nine hits and racked up six Ks.
At the plate, Mallory Brickner was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Katie Woodland, who went 2-for-3 with one triple, one double, and one RBI.
Ontario's win bumped their record up to 12-2. As for Mohawk, their victory bumped their record up to 7-1.
Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging on Friday. Ontario hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season, having averaged 1.9 home runs per game. However, it's not like Mohawk struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 1.1 home runs. With so much power on both teams, it'll be down to the pitchers to keep the mound locked down.
Ontario skirted past Mohawk 7-5 in their previous meeting back in May of 2025. Will Ontario repeat their success, or does Mohawk has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
