Flat Rock was led to victory by Mckenna Williams and Lily Klein. Williams scored ten points along with eight rebounds and five assists, while Klein dropped a double-double on 18 points and 15 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Madleen Hussein, who scored seven points along with six rebounds.
Flat Rock has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a massive bump to their 10-7 record this season. As for Huron, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-8.
Flat Rock will look to defend their home court on Monday against Grosse Ile at 7:00 p.m. Grosse Ile is coming into the matchup with three straight wins on the road, so Flat Rock is out to stop a squad with plenty of momentum. Huron is on the road again on Monday and plays Riverview at 7:00 p.m. on February 12th. Riverview is coming into the contest with four straight wins at home, so Huron is out to stop a team with plenty of momentum.
