Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Pleasant). They came out on top against the Highland Fighting Scots by a score of 61-53 on Thursday. This was a revenge game for the Spartans: when they faced off against the Fighting Scots back in December of 2024, they had to take a 48-41 defeat.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Pleasant to victory, but perhaps none more so than Lathan Mccants, who posted 20 points. Another player making a difference was Alec Columber, who had 14 points and six boards.

Several Fighting Scots players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jakai Wilson, who scored 13 points and five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Toby Rogers, who put up 14 points and six boards.

Pleasant's victory bumped their record up to 6-7. As for Highland, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-8.

Pleasant didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 56-48 loss against River Valley on the 18th. Highland has also already played their next game, a 52-42 defeat against Marion Harding on the 18th.
