The Dumont Huskies have been homebodies their last three games, but they are heading out on Thursday. They will square off against the Mahwah Thunderbirds on Thursday. Dumont won't have the home-court advantage, but they do enjoy an advantage in the MaxPreps rankings.
Everything went the Huskies' way against Fort Lee on Tuesday as they made off with a 61-39 victory. The margin was wide but not a surprise since the Huskies are ranked far ahead of Fort Lee in the MaxPreps rankings.
Meanwhile, the matchup between Mahwah and Pascack Hills on Tuesday was not a total blowout, but with Mahwah falling 66-53 on the road, it was darn close to turning into one.
Dumont's win lifted them to 13-4 while Mahwah's defeat dropped them down to 9-7. We'll see if Dumont can repeat their recent success or if Mahwah bounces back and reverse their fortune.
