For the second straight game, Silas will face off against Lincoln. The Rams will venture away from home to take on the Abes at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Silas has four straight wins, Lincoln has four straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Silas barely beat Lincoln the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Rams' pitcher stepped up to hand the Abes a 15-0 shutout on Tuesday. The Rams might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matchups by eight runs or more this season.

At the plate, Eli Lystra and Anthony Turner did most of the damage at the plate: Lystra went 3-for-4 with two triples, three runs, and three RBI, while Turner went 3-for-4 with two triples, three runs, and three RBI. Lystra has been hot recently, having also posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played. Cade Owen also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.
Silas always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .606. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Lincoln only posted an OBP of .286.
Lincoln's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Silas, their record is now 4-1.
Silas' speedy runners might be the difference in Wednesday's contest. The Rams have been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 5.4 stolen bases per game. It's a different story for Lincoln, though, as they've been averaging only 0.5 stolen bases. Will they be able to secure the bases, or will Silas continue to outrun the ball?
