Southeast has struggled against Lake Center Christian recently, as their contest on Friday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
When it comes to explaining why Southeast lost, one person who can't be blamed is Garrett Sprutte. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double on 23 points and 13 rebounds. That was a full 57.5% of Southeast's points, marking the 14th time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Southeast has been struggling recently, as they've lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-7 record this season. As for Lake Center Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 10-5.
Southeast will be playing at home against Crestwood at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Crestwood focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 16 on Friday. Lake Center Christian will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against Central Christian at 7:30 p.m. on January 30th. Central Christian is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak.
