Lynchburg-Clay's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jade Massey, who scored 17 points along with six rebounds and five steals. The matchup was Massey's seventh in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Addison West, who scored 18 points along with six rebounds.
Manchester's defeat was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 4-8. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 20.6 points per game. As for Lynchburg-Clay, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-3.
Manchester will be playing at home against Fairfield at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Lynchburg-Clay, they will head out on the road to face off against Eastern at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
