She looked comfortable on the mound,   striking out six batters over  two innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits (and not a single walk). King was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring three  runs and  stealing two bases while  getting on base  in all three of her plate appearances.
 In other batting news, Stringer got a  massive  performance out of  Madilyn Graham, who  went 2-for-2 with three  RBI, two  runs,  and a  triple. Another player making a difference was  Hannah Buckley, who  scored three  runs and  stole three bases while  getting on base  in all three of her plate appearances.
 Stringer is  on a roll lately: they've  won four of their last five matchups,  which provided a nice bump to their 9-4-1 record  this season. As for Leake County, they  haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-5.
 Stringer will be playing at home against Mize at 6:30  p.m.  on Friday. Mize knows how to get  runs on the board -- the  team has finished with flashy  run totals in its past four matches -- so hopefully Stringer likes a good challenge. As for Leake County, they will head out on the road to  challenge  Enterprise at 6:30  p.m.  on Monday.
