Meanwhile, Inter-Lakes' recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They were the victim of a tough 61-39 loss at the hands of Belmont.
Despite the loss, Inter-Lakes saw an underclassman step up: Riley Anderson scored 15 points along with seven rebounds.
St. Thomas Aquinas pushed their record up to 1-0 with that victory, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Inter-Lakes, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.
