The Lindsay Leopards's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fifth straight loss. Their tough 50-27 defeat to Marlow might stick with them for a while. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Lindsay has scored all season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Marlow to victory, but perhaps none more so than Parker Boyles, who scored 15 points along with seven rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Zack Long, who scored 12 points.
Lindsay has been struggling recently, as they've lost six of their last seven matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-10 record this season. As for Marlow, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 12-5.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lindsay will take on Comanche at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Marlow, they will head out on the road to challenge Bridge Creek at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
