After flying high against the Liberty Patriots last Tuesday, the Andrews Mustangs came back down to earth. Andrews was the victim of a tough 3-0 defeat at the hands of Lake View on Friday. Andrews has struggled against Lake View recently, as their contest on Friday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Andrews' loss dropped their record down to 2-5-2. As for Lake View, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-1.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Andrews will play host again and welcome Sweetwater, where kickoff is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Sweetwater's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end. As for Lake View, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Greenwood at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Lake View is coming into the matchup with seven straight victories at home, so Greenwood is out to stop a team with plenty of momentum.
