The St. Michael Warriors had already proven themselves in the regular season, and didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Livingston Collegiate Academy 49-14 at home. Considering St. Michael has won five matchups by more than 25 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
It was another big night for Preston Sentino, who rushed for 239 yards and five touchdowns on only 13 carries. John Martinez was another key contributor, rushing for 155 yards and a touchdown.
The victory was the third in a row for St. Michael, bringing their record for this year to 8-2. They've been dominating during the games in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 32.67 points. As for Livingston Collegiate Academy, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-4.
St. Michael will head out on the road to face off against St. Thomas More at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. St. Thomas More has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 475 points over their last 11 games. Livingston Collegiate Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
