Basketball Recap: Woodlawn-B.R. Skates Past White Castle with Ease

There's no place like home for Woodlawn-B.R., who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They claimed a resounding 72-40 victory over the White Castle Bulldogs. The Panthers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Bulldogs, too.

Woodlawn-B.R. was led to victory by Triston Brown and Kelinee Stone. Brown went 12 for 16 on his way to 35 points and five rebounds, while Stone went 10 of 17 on his way to 20 points in addition to six boards and four steals. With that strong performance, Brown is now averaging an impressive 15.8 points per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Ahmad Price, who posted four points along with seven assists and three steals.

Woodlawn-B.R.'s win was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-4. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.1 points per game. As for White Castle, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-4.
