Carbon came tearing into Thursday's game with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.3 goals), and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victors by a 4-1 margin over the Canyon View Falcons. The result was nothing new for Carbon, who have now won seven matches by three goals or more so far this season.

Malia Smith and Naomi Smith scored all four of Carbon's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 32 goals.

Carbon's win bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Canyon View, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Carbon will square off against Juab at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Carbon's defense better be ready for this one: Juab have averaged an impressive 3.6 goals per game this season. As for Canyon View, they will take on North Sanpete at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
