 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Mayli Stockton, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 2-for-4.  Lexie Rogers was another key contributor,  going 2-for-4 with a  triple and  an  RBI.
 Meanwhile, County Line was not able to break out of their rough patch  two weeks ago as the team picked up their third straight  loss. They suffered a  rough 17-2 defeat at the hands of Magazine.
 Lavaca pushed their record up to 10-5 with that  win, which was their third straight  on the road. As for County Line, their loss dropped their record down to 3-6.
