After a string of four wins, Oriskany's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. Their2024 ended with a 63-49 defeat against the Madison Central Blue Devils. The Redskins were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Blue Devils apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2023.

Oriskany's defeat ended an eight-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 4-2. As for Madison Central, the win keeps them at an undefeated 8-0.

Oriskany will be playing in front of their home fans against Faith Heritage at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Faith Heritage's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. As for Madison Central, they will square off against Otselic Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Madison Central knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matches -- so hopefully Otselic Valley likes a good challenge.
