The Leuzinger Olympians posted their closest victory yet this season on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Beverly Hills and snuck past 59-57. The win made it back-to-back wins for Leuzinger.
It was another big night for Joshua Garland, who scored 29 points. He is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Malachi Knight, who scored 16 points.
Leuzinger has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a massive bump to their 12-7 record this season. As for Beverly Hills, they now have a losing record at 8-9.
Leuzinger won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Blair at 1:00 p.m. on January 13th. Averaging 78.5 so far this season, Blair's high-powered offense has been in full-swing lately, so Leuzinger better be ready for a challenge. As for Beverly Hills, they will be playing at home against Artesia at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. Hopefully Artesia focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 17 on Friday.
