After two games on the road, Jac-Cen-Del is heading back home. They will be home for the holidays to greet the North Decatur Chargers at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Last Friday, Jac-Cen-Del lost to Southwestern on the road by a decisive 65-51 margin. While losing is never fun, Jac-Cen-Del can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 238th, while Southwestern is ranked 27th).
Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, North Decatur's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They took a 52-45 hit to the loss column at the hands of Triton Central. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points North Decatur has scored all season.
Jac-Cen-Del bumped their record down to 3-4 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for North Decatur, their defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 4-2.
Jac-Cen-Del was taken down by North Decatur 66-32 in their previous meeting back in January. The game was all but decided by halftime, at which point Jac-Cen-Del was down 37-13.
