After a string of 23 wins, Maple Grove's good fortune finally ran out  on Tuesday. They took  a  3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Champlin Park Rebels. The Crimson were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Rebels earlier this season, when they won  3-1.
 While Maple Grove had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 18 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-18, 23-25,  25-22.
 Kacie Schulte paced Maple Grove's offense, picking up 16 kills. Schulte got some help from  Addison Chung and her 19 assists. Schulte was also solid from the service line:  she led the team with four aces.
Maple Grove's defeat dropped their record down to 27-4. As for Champlin Park, they have  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won nine of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-8 record  this season.
 Maple Grove does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Champlin Park has  already played their next  matchup (against Rogers), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
