In what's become a running theme this season, the Tanner Rattlers gave their fans yet another huge victory on Friday. They put the hurt on Clements with a sharp 63-39 win. The victory was nothing new for Tanner as they're now sitting on five straight.
Leading Tanner to victory were Skylar Townsend and Cade Dorning. Townsend scored 15 points, while Dorning scored 12 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Dorning has scored all season. TreJ lett was another key contributor, scoring eight points.
Tanner is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a massive bump to their 11-6 record this season. As for Clements, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost ten of their last 12 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-18 record this season.
Tanner won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against East Limestone at 5:00 p.m. on January 27th. Clements on the road again on Monday and play against Alabama School of Cyber Technology and Engineering at 6:00 p.m. on January 29th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Alabama (Alabama School of Cyber Technology and Engineering is ranked 364th, while Clements is ranked 383rd).
