The biggest upset of the week belonged to Taft, who took down 341st ranked Holmes, 49-29.
Warren's R Jacobs rumbled for the longest rushing play in 5A Region IV District 27 this season in his game against Stevens last week. Jacobs scampered for 89 yards on the play and finished with 132 on the day as his team beat Stevens.
Warren's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Jordan Sneed threw for 218 and three touchdowns and A Taylor had 133 yards receiving. Moraniec helped Warren's passing attack out by catching four balls for 83 yards.
GILBERT GARCIA provided a threat through the air and on the ground as the Huskies lost to the Raiders. He completed 16 passes for 219 yards and also ran for 89 yards. GARCIA's favorite target this week was JORDAN VARGAS, who caught six passes for 71 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Marshall takes on Brandeis. As it stands, the Rams are in fourth, while Brandeis is in first.
Bryan Dausin's team was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from fifth to third in the league. The Warriors defeated Lee Bridges' team 42-20 earlier in the week.
