The Batesville Bulldogs won the last time they faced the Hauser Jets, and things went their way on Saturday too. Batesville managed a 54-50 victory over the Jets. The win made it back-to-back wins for Batesville.
Leading Batesville to victory were Jack Grunkemeyer and Cade Kaiser. Grunkemeyer scored 15 points along with seven rebounds, while Kaiser scored 22 points along with five blocks and three steals. Brayden Maple was another key contributor, scoring five points.
Batesville pushed their record up to 11-4 with that victory, which was their third straight on the road. As for Hauser, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-4.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Batesville will face off against the Knights at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. South Dearborn will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Indiana Rankings (they are ranked 219th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 79th). As for Hauser, they and the Spartans will face off at 7:30 p.m. on February 1st without much rest after finishing up games yesterday.
