Volleyball Recap: Butler Has No Trouble Against Chambers

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Cuthbertson, Butler was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Chambers Cougars with a sharp 3-0 victory. The Bulldogs haven't had any issues with the Cougars recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Butler took every set by at least 25 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-0, 25-0, 25-0.

Butler's victory bumped their record up to 12-5. As for Chambers, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last ten matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-9 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Butler will square off against rival North Mecklenburg at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Chambers is set to take on their familiar foe Independence at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
