In other batting news, Presentation got a massive performance out of Juliana Yurko, who went 3-for-5 with five RBI, one triple, and one run. The dominant performance also gave Yurko a new career-high in hits (three). Another player making a difference was Julia Simon, who scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in all five of her plate appearances.
Presentation was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .444. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Cupertino only posted a batting average of .227.
Meanwhile, Sequoia was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 4-3 heartbreaker at the hands of Woodside.
Elkington Jamie was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one home run and three RBI.
