In other batting news, Morristown-Hamblen West let Kaylynn Milton and Eva Boudier run wild. Milton went 1-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI, while Boudier went a perfect 4-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. Those two runs gave Milton a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Haley Milton, who went 3-for-4 with one run and one double.

Malyiah Smith was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with three stolen bases, three runs, and one double. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last five games she's played. Maddi Whaley was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one run and one RBI.
Morristown-Hamblen West pushed their record up to 8-6 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for Gibbs, their win bumped their record up to 24-3.
Monday's matchup will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Morristown-Hamblen West hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .345. However, it's not like Gibbs struggles in that department as they've averaged .424. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
