Duluth (Ga.) defeated Habersham Central (Mt. Airy, Ga.) 56-14.
The Wildcats scored on a touchdown run by
Myles Campbell, a Campbell touchdown run, a rushing touchdown and a passing touchdown in the quarter.
After taking the lead on a touchdown run by Campbell in the second quarter, Duluth led 28-0 at the half.
DHS expanded its lead to 35 points entering the fourth quarter. The Wildcats scored three times in the third, including once on a passing touchdown.
Campbell played well for Duluth in the victory. The senior wide receiver ran for two touchdowns. He has now scored six touchdowns on the season.
DHS had struggled this season, allowing 31.4 points per game.
The win was a nice bounce back for the Wildcats, which lost to Mill Creek last week, 56-21.
Habersham Central (1-8) will play a AAAAAA Region 7 game against Mill Creek next week, while Duluth (3-5) will take on Collins Hill also in a AAAAAA Region 7 game.
