Port St. Joe has been on the road for two straight, but on Friday they'll finally head home. They will take on The Bay Tornadoes at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Florida (Port St. Joe is ranked 368th, while Bay is ranked 350th).
It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 48-21, which was the final score in Port St. Joe's tilt against Sneads on Friday.
Devin Cuttino put forth a good effort for the losing side as he rushed for 171 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 8.1 yards per carry. Another player making a difference was Corban Butts, who rushed for 98 yards and a touchdown.
Meanwhile, Bay narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past Rutherford 18-15. The victory was just what Bay needed coming off of a 35-0 loss in their prior match.
Bay found their leader in underclassman Zabeyon Morgan, who threw for 168 yards and three touchdowns on only 15 passes.
Sneads' win bumped their season record to 4-4 while Port St. Joe's loss dropped theirs to 5-4.
Port St. Joe was taken down by Bay 35-6 in their previous matchup back in September of 2022. Will Port St. Joe have more luck at home instead of on the road?
