Their rough 32-8 defeat to Sesser-Valier/Waltonville on Saturday might stick with them for a while. Salt Fork's loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.
Sesser-Valier/Waltonville was led to victory by Colt Packer and Dez Malone. Packer threw for 138 yards and two touchdowns, while Malone gained 114 total yards and three touchdowns.
Salt Fork's defeat dropped their record down to 8-3. As for Sesser-Valier/Waltonville, their victory was their eighth straight at home (dating back to last season), which pushed their record up to 11-0.
Salt Fork does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Sesser-Valier/Waltonville will look to defend their home field on Saturday against Greenfield/Northwestern at 2:30 p.m. Greenfield/Northwestern will be coming into the match with an undefeated record on the line.
