The Kingman Eagles were the 59-53 winner over the Garden Plain Owls when they last played one another back in February of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The match between Kingman and Garden Plain wasn't particularly close, with Kingman falling 44-27. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Kingman has scored all season.
Chase Webster and Zayden Volden certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Webster scored 12 points along with three steals and three blocks, while Volden scored five points along with five rebounds and three blocks.
Kingman are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-12. As for Garden Plain, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-11.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Kingman will take on Chaparral at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Chaparral is coming into the matchup with eight straight defeats on the road, meaning Kingman will have to defend against a squad hungry for a win. As for Garden Plain, they will be playing at home against Douglass at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
