Raleigh will take on Crystal Springs at home at 7:00 PM on Friday. The squad will be hoping to continue their now three-game streak of scoring more points each game than the last.
Raleigh came up short against Mendenhall last Friday, falling 43-52. Raleigh got a solid performance out of sophomore Margro Perkins, who rushed for 105 yards and 1 touchdown; unfortunately, it just wasn't enough for the victory. In fact, with nine tackles Perkins was a force on both sides of the ball.
Meanwhile, Crystal Springs were fully in charge, breezing past Raymond 47-0. The success made it back-to-back wins for Crystal Springs.
Crystal Springs's win lifted them to 4-1 while Raleigh's defeat dropped them down to 1-5. After the lofty point totals in their previous games, we'll see if they're able to heat things up even more while facing each other.
