Pine Bluff was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 21-4 to the Beebe Badgers. On the bright side, the four- run performance marked the Zebras' highest-scoring contest to date.

Pine Bluff saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sedrick Pridgeon Jr., who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with two stolen bases, one double, and one RBI. That RBI marked the first that Pridgeon Jr. has brought in this season.

Pine Bluff's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Beebe, their win bumped their record up to 5-3.

Coming up, Pine Bluff will venture away from home to face off against Fordyce at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Redbugs have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 6.63 runs per game on average), something the Zebras will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Beebe, they will face off against Siloam Springs at 8:15 p.m. on Thursday. The Badgers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Panthers have averaged an impressive 6.8 runs per game this season.
