Legacy Charter is 2-8 against Foundation Academy since March of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit  on Tuesday. The Eagles will take on the Lions at 6:30  p.m. Legacy Charter has given up an average of 9.8  runs per game this season, but Tuesday's  game will give them a chance to turn things around.
Legacy Charter is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup  on Monday. They had just enough and edged out Central Florida Christian Academy  18-17. The  win continues a trend for Legacy Charter in their matchups with Central Florida Christian Academy: they've now won eight in a row.
 Lindsay Donahey made a splash while hitting and pitching. She  tossed one inning while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. Donahey was even better at the plate,  going 1-for-4 with two  stolen bases, three  runs,  and one  RBI. That's the most  stolen bases  she has posted since back in February.

 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Brooklynn Kowal, who  went 2-for-5 with three  runs, three  RBI,  and one  triple. Those  three  RBI gave  her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was  Madison Catrett, who  went 2-for-6 with three  runs, one  stolen base,  and two  RBI.
Meanwhile, Foundation Academy hadn't done well against Cornerstone Charter Academy recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way  on Tuesday. The Lions came out on top against the Ducks by a score of  10-5.
 Elizabeth Ozim was a standout: she went 3-for-4 with three  doubles, two  runs,  and one  RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of  Riley Winters, who  got on base  in three of her four plate appearances with three  runs and one  RBI.
 Foundation Academy  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 11  hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  got at least eight  hits in four consecutive  matches.
 Foundation Academy has  been performing  well recently as they've  won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record  this season. The  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 9.3 runs over those games. As for Legacy Charter,  the  win  got them back to even at 8-8.
 Legacy Charter might still be hurting after the  11-1 defeat they got from Foundation Academy  when the teams last played  back in April of 2022. Can the Eagles avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
