The Rossville Bulldogs's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Kansas City Christian School Panthers. Hopefully Rossville focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 16 on Saturday.
Last Saturday, Rossville came up short against Chapman and fell 62-53.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Tayson Horak, who scored 13 points along with 3 steals. Mason Jones was another key contributor, scoring 10 points along with 6 rebounds.
Meanwhile, Kansas City Christian School suffered a rough 61-35 defeat at the hands of Heritage Christian Academy on Saturday. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Kansas City Christian School in their matchups with Heritage Christian Academy: they've now lost eight in a row.
Sacred Heart's win bumped their season record to 0-0 while Rossville's loss dropped theirs to 1-2.
Rossville beat Kansas City Christian School 44-37 when the teams last played back in December of 2022. The rematch might be a little tougher for Rossville since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
