Mountain Crest has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will square off against the Ridgeline Riverhawks at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both teams come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Even though Bear River scored an imposing 58 points on Friday, Mountain Crest still came out on top. Mountain Crest took their matchup against Bear River 71-58.
It was another big night for Josh Arnell, who scored 28 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Kaden Hess, who scored 15 points.
Meanwhile, even though Sky View scored an imposing 56 points on Friday, Ridgeline still came out on top. Ridgeline walked away with a 65-56 victory over Sky View.
Carson Cox continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 31 points along with nine rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Cam Blotter, who scored seven points along with eight assists and seven rebounds.
Mountain Crest's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-4. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.0 points per game. As for Ridgeline, their victory bumped their record up to 11-5.
Mountain Crest might still be hurting after the 63-42 defeat they got from Ridgeline in their previous matchup back in February of 2023. Can Mountain Crest avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
