Having just played yesterday, they will head out on the road to face off against the Johnson Pumas at 5:30 p.m. on December 21st. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Given ITW David Speer Academy's advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 133rd, while UIC College Prep is ranked 454th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, Johnson scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Pritzker 79-21 at home. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 48-2.
Johnson relied on the efforts of Destiny Taylor, who dropped a double-double on 30 points and 18 rebounds, and Le'Andra Hill, who almost dropped a triple-double on 36 points, 11 rebounds, and nine steals. The game was Hill's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Kaylynn Arnold, who scored seven points along with seven rebounds.
ITW David Speer Academy's win was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-1. As for Johnson, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-3.
ITW David Speer Academy strolled past Johnson in their previous meeting back in December of 2017 by a score of 46-32. The rematch might be a little tougher for ITW David Speer Academy since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
