Okemos took a 24-point defeat the last time they faced off against Everett, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Okemos Wolves narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Everett Vikings 2-0. The victory was just business as usual for the Wolves, who after four games remain undefeated this season.

Okemos' win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Everett, they dropped their record down to 0-2 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Okemos will welcome DeWitt at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Okemos' defense has only allowed 29.8 points per game this season, so DeWitt's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Everett, they will take on Adrian in a tournament on Saturday.
