Tareavion Mageo Has Career-Day on Friday
Starting off the list is White Oak's Tareavion Mageo, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. On Friday Mageo rushed for 292 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 13.3 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. His longest rush was for an incredible 70 yards.
The victory (which was White Oak's fifth in a row) raised their record to 6-1. Mageo and White Oak will look to defend their home field on Friday against Dixon at 7:00 p.m.

Big Game from Simco As Richlands Won 42-14
Caleb Simco's big game helped extend Richlands's winning streak to seven on Friday. Simco was unstoppable, rushing for 230 yards on only nine carries, while also throwing for 117 yards on eight of 15 attempts. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in rushing yards.
Richlands' victory was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-0. Simco and Richlands will square off against West Carteret at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Semaj Thompson and Co. Win Seventh in a Row
Semaj Thompson was instrumental in extending Richlands's winning streak to seven on Friday. Thompson was unstoppable, picking up five sacks and making 11 total tackles.
This season, Thompson has averaged 5.9 total tackles per game and for the season has 6.5 sacks. He is looking even better than he did last year: after seven games last season, he had one sack.

Montez Jimenez Turns in Season-Best Performance
On Friday, White Oak got the W thanks in part to Montez Jimenez playing the best football he has all season. Jimenez rushed for 85 yards and a touchdown on only seven carries, and also caught a touchdown.
Jimenez and White Oak will be playing in front of their home fans against Dixon at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The contest will pit Jimenez up against the Bulldogs' star running back JJ Gulat. Will the matchup be decided in the trenches? We'll have our answer very soon.

Rounding off our Top Five is Andrew Boucher of Croatan. Boucher rushed for 45 yards and a touchdown, and also picked up 38 receiving yards.
This year, Boucher has run in 4 touchdowns while averaging 69 rushing yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he was only averaging 11.71 rushing yards per game.
