The Paetow Panthers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their fourth straight loss. They took a serious blow against Klein Collins, falling 60-20. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Paetow has scored all season.
Leading Klein Collins to victory were Christin Callens and A'niyah Harmon. Callens dropped a double-double on 26 points and 11 rebounds, while Harmon scored 18 points along with nine steals and five rebounds. The matchup was Callens' 22nd in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Brooklyn Bailey, who scored two points along with seven rebounds and six steals.
Paetow has been struggling recently, as they've lost seven of their last nine matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-10 record this season. As for Klein Collins, the victory (which was their 14th in a row) raised their record to 19-3.
Paetow will be playing at home against Katy Taylor at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Katy Taylor is looking to tack on another W to their four-game streak on the road. As for Klein Collins, they will square off against Klein Cain at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Klein Cain will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings (they are ranked 561st, while Klein Collins is ranked 80th).
