Northview was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight  loss  dating back to last season. They took  a  3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Clay Eagles. The Wildcats were not able to make up for their  defeat to the Eagles from their previous meeting  back in September of 2024.
 The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-13, 21-25,  25-14.
 Brianna Langenderfer paced Northview's offense, picking up 12 kills. Langenderfer got some help from  Alayna Sauer and her 37 assists. Sauer was also solid from the service line:  she led the team with two aces.
Northview's loss dropped their record down to 0-2.
 Northview wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next  contest,  a  3-0  win against Springfield on the 21st. As for Clay, they have also already played their next match,  a  3-1  defeat against Anthony Wayne on the 21st.
