The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Trinity Prep in their matchups with Horizon Christian Academy: they've now lost four in a row.
Anna Dunagan was Trinity Prep's leading scorer, having posted nine points.
It was another big night for Nyla Black, who almost dropped a double-double on 21 points and nine steals for Horizon Christian Academy. Black hasn't dropped below two steals for 11 straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Megan Holcombe, who scored ten points along with two steals.
Trinity Prep has traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last ten matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-11 record this season. As for Horizon Christian Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 21-5 record this season.
Trinity Prep does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Horizon Christian Academy, they won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Peachtree Academy at 5:30 p.m. on February 9th. Peachtree Academy will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Georgia Rankings (they are ranked 423rd, while Horizon Christian Academy is ranked 162nd).
