Evansville Christian has not had much luck with Wood Memorial recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Bella Hall and Addie Grubb certainly did their best on Tuesday to try and avoid the loss. Hall scored 12 points along with 8 rebounds and 3 steals, while Grubb scored 11 points. Grubb has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last five times she's played. Sammi Holzmeyer was another key contributor, scoring 8 points.
Evansville Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Wood Memorial, they now have a winning record of 4-3.
Evansville Christian's homestand continues as they prepare to take on Loogootee at 12:00 p.m. on December 2nd. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Indiana (Loogootee is ranked 242nd, while Evansville Christian is ranked 253rd). As for Wood Memorial, they will head out on the road to face off against Washington Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Washington Catholic comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 17 points in their last four games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse.
