After three games on the road, Bosco Tech is heading back home. They will take on the Mary Star of the Sea Stars at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Hopefully Bosco Tech is not getting complacent, as they presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Mary Star of the Sea in California (Bosco Tech is ranked 161st, while Mary Star of the Sea is ranked 330th).
Bosco Tech scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They blew past St. Genevieve 90-56 on the road. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Jaden Erami was his usual excellent self, scoring 39 points. He hasn't dropped below 15points for eight straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Ryan Osborne, who scored 18 points along with seven rebounds.
Meanwhile, after a string of eight wins, Mary Star of the Sea's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They took a 60-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of Blair.
Bosco Tech pushed their record up to 14-7 with that win, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 75.4 points per game. As for Mary Star of the Sea, their loss dropped their record down to 16-5.
Bosco Tech beat Mary Star of the Sea 57-46 in their previous matchup back in January of 2023. Will Bosco Tech repeat their success, or does Mary Star of the Sea have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
