The Challenger Firebirds were the 41-38 winner over the Reynolds Mountain Christian Academy Eagles when they last played one another back in November of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. Challenger took a 55-46 hit to the loss column at the hands of Reynolds Mountain Christian Academy on Monday.
Despite the loss, Challenger still got an impressive performance from Riley Annis, who scored 22 points along with two steals. Braelon Roe was another key contributor, scoring six points along with nine assists.
Challenger's loss dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Reynolds Mountain Christian Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 4-7 record this season.
Challenger will head out on the road to take on Nebo Crossing Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Nebo Crossing Academy will be looking to keep their three-game home win streak alive. Reynolds Mountain Christian Academy will take on Bethel Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
